Nebody switch from stock Si rims to 17" HFP?

I know the HFP rims weigh 20lbs--has anyone swapped from the stock Si rims to HFP and noticed a difference in responsiveness?

I've been pouring over different rims, and have concluded that the HFP style looks the best on the Si... but kinda reluctant to spend $700 on rims that weigh 20 lbs each.

Are they the exact same tire size? I've got the HPT coming on the stock wheels, and the HFP looks so much better. Would it be as simple as swaping the tires over?

If they're both 17" then yeah, you could just swap the tires.

in this case , yes they are the same size 17"

but for future comments

there are different widths of wheels

17 X 7 ..... 17 X 9.... 17 etc etc etc

you cant just "swap the tires" cause they are all 17's.... you have to know widths also

but for the OEM hfp's....they are the same :)

Does anyone know if the HFP 18" will fix an LX? I checked on Handa-Accessories.com for the rim, and they claim that it doesn't.

18" Alloy Wheel
Genuine Honda Civic wheel
Fits Si models only.
Not recommended for Hybrid Model
Fits Year 2006, for other years

Does anyone know for sure if it does or not?

Also, I am a fat guy, and I usually carry around fatter people (none of us weigh less than 240, seriously) and am wondering if I will pretty much make my car unusable by putting on 18" rims.

I don't really mind losing some speed for the rims (if I wanted speed I would have bought an Si, and I would dump my friends for a skinny girlfriend)

I just want to get the car looking nice for the upcoming nice weather. :)
