^^ Hey man! Welcome to the 8th! I see you're from Akron... If intrested we have an 8thcivic meet set up July 14 in Columbus if you wanna go! Check out the forum in the Mid-West section of the forums.

Tim: Nice forum idea man. I really like all of your OEM wheels EXCEPT the RDX ones. They look TERRIBLE IMHO . But I REALLY like the Type-R wheels on your Si! Nice!

Here is my RR EX with 03-05 Civic Si EP3-R5 HFP 17" wheels. They look great!

More pics of my ride!
Updated pics of my ride

Hey guys, I'm new and was wondering about upgrading the wheels. Do any of the Accord or Acura wheels fit fine on a EX sedan? Or would I need spacers or shaving down the calipers or anything? And would the lugs be my OEM or do I need to get ones for the specific wheels I want? And the cap covers, where do you get those?

I like the Alloy look, and like these from this thread-
05 Type S
05 TSX
04 Type S
06 RSX-S
17" 03-05 6speed V6 accord rims

If I found those, would it be plug and play so to speak, or is there more configuration needed?

Someone said most Acura wheels will it my EX sedan without mod or spacers. 2 questions:

1) Where do I get a Honda cap, and do they fit all recent Acura wheels?
2) Will my EX lugs work or do I need Acura lugs?

I'm following a few auctions on eBay, I like the TSX wheels, but I don't want to be surprised if I got them and they didn't fit with my lugs, etc.

im not positive about either of those questions, but i would think both should be yes. I think most caps are the same- you could probably find them online or order them from a honda dealer. And i think the lugs should work; but im not sure.

hehe, so you aren't sure but leaning towards yes? I'd hate to drop $400 on ebay then to get $500 in tires, then pay to have then mounted to find they don't fit with my lugs, haha. I know the SI rims need SI lugs, so that's why I ask about Acura wheels.

Plus, I'd have to have the Honda cap or it'd look silly.

if you guys need some center caps, try to e-mail beavnyc@verizon.net. his name is Vadim Rabinovich. i bought 2 sets from him already. he'll custom made one for you. tell him i told you guys to e-mail him. he basically buys oem center caps and he did magic to it...lol. i have the accord type r with embossed H and he put red decal on it. one set went on my EF9 with gt3 rims and one going on to my 07 civic si TW sedan. goodluck.
