How many miles with the OEM tires on the SI ???

I own an EX, but have the SI wheels and tires on her. I'm wondering how many miles (or km) you guys have done before to change them.

My tires are just about 20000km right now (about 12400 miles), and I'm not sure how long they will still last ? On dry pavement, they are still good, but as soon as there is some deep water or slush (mixed with snow), they are terribly dangerous....I know tey are not suitable for snow, but yesterday unfortunately we received another 6 inches and my summer tires were already installed on my both cars.....

they have marks on them that will apprear when tread is wearing low. or you can just keep an eye on them to decide when tread looks bad.

I'm at 25,000 miles, and they probably have about another 10,000-15,000 miles left on them.

I don't rotate and my fronts lasted 15k. The rears are still great and have another 15k at least left on them. After the factory tires wear past 1/2. They're junk...sliding all over the place, unwanted wheelspin......

All 4 of my tires were nearly bald after the first 12,000 miles. I have the HFP rims, so I had General Tire Exclaim UHP's on them. Gripped really well, but, no tread life.

The rotation is scheduled at the B(1) service, which should show up every 16,000 miles.

I followed this and noticed a significant amount of uneven tire wear. The fronts were pretty much bald whereas the rears had some tread left. I'm at 20,000 miles now and I'm going to need a new set of tires after this season.

I'd rotate them every oil change.

You're just asking for problems if you wait that long. What about nails, uneven wear, out of camber wear, bubbles in the tread, there are so many things than can go wrong with a tire that can potentially cause a blow out and a major accident. Any tire shop with tell you to rotate your tires at least every 5,000 miles, I get mine done every time I change my oil, and more than once there was a problem with a tire so I am sure glad that I went.
