Putting Wider tires in the front?
I know all the good things about putting wider tires in the front, but what if any are the downsides to doing this? I was just going to put 225/40/17 in the front and leave the stock 215/45/17 on the back, does this make sense?

I plan on putting 235/40/17 (closer diameter to stock) and 215/45/17 to the rear.
Downside is that you may have a slight loss of power due to increased friction from the larger contact patch. Benefit is that handling can improve. Don't think it impacts alignment at all. |
