Front axles not clearing center caps???

Sounds dumb I know, I installed a set of 18" HP Racing EVO wheels on my 07 Si today and the end of the axles had to be ground off about 1/8 of an inch to clear the center caps. The wheels are the correct bolt pattern and offset for my car. Everything else fit and cleared perfect. Has anyone else had this problem? after grinding the ends lightly they fit with no problem.

Grinding parts so wheels fit is PROBABLY a good sign you bought something that SHOULDNT go on your car.

sounds like you didnt get the correct hub bore size or something...
