calling out every1 dropped on progress springs or 1.6-1.4" drop

so if your car is lowered between 1.6 inches to 1.4 inches and u have 18x7.5 +40mm offset wheels on there, what tires are you using??
i got some advice from tim to use 225/40/18 but i just wanted to be 100% sure i wont have any problems whatsoever. any help appreciated thx

true butlisten what if i go 225/35/18 will i be better off because it will be a little thinner(the tire)

oh my bad u said 215/40/18
is the 215 the overall width and the 40 the thickness from the end ofrim to the top of tire? because i think the issue im looking at (rubbing/fitting on my car) is the thickness from rim to fender
