Those are my favorite Rotas. I'd have already bought them if they come in an 18" size. They're Mugen GP replicas.

yeah, if you can do a clean job with the paint it'll look good on NBP
you'll come across a ton of haters though cause you own Rotas
just cause they're replicas of brand name wheels
but I've owned a set before and they are not as crappy as people say they are
good luck

I'm sorry to rant, but I absolutely HATE Rotas. I know it's hard for people to afford and/or acquire authentic rims, but why does Rota have to copy designs? Just spend more R&D and develop your own designs. I just don't like when one company rides on the success of another by simply copying.

Sorry for the jack.

Oh, and those rims are sick.

I don't hate Rota's but I do agree that they should design their own rims.
but if you think about it, Rota wouldn't be so popular if they didn't copy other popular brand name design's and make them half the price.
I think on their part, its a good marketing plan to make money for those who cannot afford real ones.

That's just like see a bunch of people walking around with fake Louis Vutton man-purses and wallets. They can't afford the real thing.
well thats what happens where I live anyway...

In my personal experience though, Rota's are pretty durable rims and nicely made.

I hate Rotas only because of their business strategy, not their construction techniques.

No, all Rotas are cast.

And, I won't trust any company that mix up San Diego and Dallas on a map!

Another thing to keep in mind is that by simply using designs already established they can cut development costs somewhat and pass that along in savings to the consumer.
