Question about lugs

I just ordered some new wheels and I'm not sure what kind of lug nuts I'm going to need. From what I've read around here I can't reuse the stock ones, and frankly I'd like a set with a lock anyway. Can anyone fill me in on this?

Yashio, Kiks, Works, & Volks are all well made. Two choices...open and closed.

easiest way is to just go to autozone or pep boys or something and buy a set of lockable tuner-style lugs. Unless you wanna go with lightweight ones or something special like that. If thats the case, Id recommend ebay.

But what about sizing, depth, etc? Are all nuts universal? That would imply that all studs are the same diameter. I'm familiar with the brands making them, I just wanted some specific info on sizing issues. I'll be going with RAYS, by the way. I wanna keep it in the family:)
