correct wheel & tire size for 2006 sedan!
hi there fellow civic owners,
well i have many questions to ask from guys in this forum. i have a 2006 honda civic sedan, silver colored fitted with stock wheels are tires 195/65 R15. In Dubai, UAE, the Honda dealer is offering 4 years unlimited Kilometer (KMs) warranty!! suspension(shocks & springs) warranty only for 60,000KMs only. i want to upgrade to a new size when my stock tires run out of tread. my questions are as follows: 1. what wheel size can i go for without making ANY changes to the stock suspension? example 205/45 R17 or 215/45 R17 2. what should be the correct wheel and tire size? 205/45 R17 or 215/45 R17 3. what differences in terms of road handling(road grip, steering response) will be there if i fit lets say 205/45 R17 0r 215/45 R17? 4. what color wheels will match with the silver color of the sedan? silver, gunmetal or bronze? 5. what is "plus size" and "offset"? 6. what should be the correct "plus size" for my 195/65 R15? 7. whats should be the correct "offset" for new wheel & tire size? 8. what kind of wheel rims are good....forged, 2 piece etc? 9. i know i have asked lots of questions, but im sure you all guys have good experience so as to provide me with correct advice. 10. Thanx a lot guys, i appriciate your profesional advice. |
