Quick ? on Performance Tires

I apologize if this is a stupid question but I was wondering if performance summer tires tend to pick up more road debris than say an all season tire does? When I say debris I'm referring to fine rocks, sand, etc.

Thanks for your help.

generally, the stickier the rubber compound of a tire the more small rocks you will pick up....but some performance tires have very hard rubber, and some have softer...so it all depends really

i would assume it depends mainly on what roads you drive..like the quality of it. plus it would also depend on the tread pattern of the tire...

when you say pick up

do you mean throw at the car behind you

or pick up as in get stuck in the tread

idk about the trowing rocks at the car behind you

but as in getting stuck in the tread it all depends on the tire and how the tread is designed

I'm not referring to rocks getting stuck in the tread but rather small particles of gravel, sand, etc. get picked up by the tire and thrown upward onto the body of the car.
