i think the best option for for the si is $200 for the PE2 summer tires. that the one thing i highly regret not getting on my car cause the all season tire suck balls they have little grip on any surface wet or dry. the RE050A pole positions on my dads MS3 just dig into the road, you cant even get the tires to chirp unless you dump the clutch around 4-5000rpms and there's no tire chirp between shifts.

I wish I would have got the summer tire option, but if I recall right the dealer wanted a LOT more than $200... maybe $200 per tire, if that's what you meant. The all seasons are crap. I put < 10k miles on mine, rotating frequently, before they were down to the treadware bars. Treadware 320?!? Granted, I autocrossed on them several times and did a 50 ft burnout at the Dragon's Tail.

i didnt mind them at all.. well that was until i put some Ultra High Performance Rated Summer Pirelli PZero Nero's on the car those things will make you stick to the road like toilet paper to your shoe.. lol but the dont last very long if you are a spirited driver.. all in all the stockies arent that bad for an OEM tire.. but there are def better tires out there

God help you if you drive in snow. God help your soul. You may as well be driving with no tread at all.
Even the dealership said they are **** tires. They wore okay for me, but I'm just replacing them at 38,000 miles...they've been close to bare tread for a few months now, but yeah... Crap tires, in my opinion. Weren't horrible in the summer (squealed a bit when cornering on a warm day, but that's expected, no?), but when the snow came, I sat at a stop light and spun for about three seconds before getting the traction to move...slowly, if there was even a light dusting. |

Even if the OEM tires were decent, they wouldn't be worth the crazy $$ to get new ones. There's a lot of tires for far less that can match your personal needs.
The only benefit with these Michelins is that they seem to be pretty reliable. I've beaten the crap out of mine, and not only are they holding together well, but they're wearing evenly too. |
