Rubbing with Pro-s and 8" wide rim

ive got a set of 17x8 TL Type-s rims on my car now and im dropped on pro-s pretty low and my tires were rubbing on the spring perches. anyone else have this prob?? would i be able to run a 215/45/17??

how wide are ur tires now? have a pic? im on pro-s with 245's in the back and im not rubbing..

woooooo yes that is way too big! u need 225! lol i have 225/40/18-front and 245/40/18-back

dont run spacers. the wheels will fit fine with a proper tire size. 225 or 235

225 is going to rub

the offset on the rims is too high

215 should be fine

i had the same problem with my TSX rims, i was running 225 and i was rubbing

thats a 215/45/17 on an 17x8 45mm wheel. its a bit stretched but it works.

spacers, stock honda/acura rims are like 48+ which are all really high. I had 18x8 +48 rotas with 225 tires and they still hit the coilover in the front
