contemplating painting rims...

i am thinking about painting my stock si rims championship white like the dc5 type r rims and use them for winter...i just want to paint them so i still have something different...i have work emotion cr kai's on right now but i'm wanting to buy winter tires for the stockies...what do you think?....oh yeah...rallye red

I'm actually planning on doing the same thing as well to my rims over the winter. Just looking for a place to do some powder coating. Except rather than using them as winters I was going to make them my summer set. White rims during winter... go for it!

i was either going to do that or buy a cheaper set of rims and sell the stockies....maybe something along the lines of these...don't know about these and rallye red though...a guy has a similar wheel(i think they were works don't remember) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=88433

Technically it would be better to go smaller on winter rims since they cut through the snow better, but you can use your 17's...

Im going to go with 16's personally.
