That's ok if your not into it, not many are, Im not into racing and if I was I'd get an wrx like my friend has (well maybe not just like his,he has a 2007 sti with 40k in mods and no interior, the thing is sick, were talking a nitrous fogger on the intercooler people to keep it frosty).
I've always had the largest rims I can safely fit on my car, just the look I like. I buy a new car every 2 years, in 2002 I had an ex civic lowered 2.5" with koni yellows and neuspeed springs, strut bars and all that. I was running 215/ 35/ 18 on that car with no rub and it handled great, I'm getting older and don't mind driving slow. Since then I've had a 04 accord coupe v6 6spd, a 06 civic sedan, and now my 08 coupe. To answer nastynogales, yes they weigh more then some oz race wheels and most others, lol. In the front with the wheel full cut they rub the plastic fender wheels slightly. (which I will trim a bit as I did in my sedan) the rear wheels rubbed until I rolled the fenders. I'm running a 40 offset, maybe a bit more and rolling wouldn't be needed, my sedan never really needed it and I could get a full tuck with no rub with friends in the back seat. As far as the ride the yoko's are the best yet in the size I use 225/35/20 imo, then my next favorite would be the nitto 555's a bit softer compound. I had some wanli's but the side walls flexed to much for my liking, the nittos are super stiff feeling; but the yokohamas seem to be a bit more forgiving. to each his own but it does look ridiculous , it looks like aluminum foil wheels, and you cant tell me you dont get made fun of for this, idk to me there is no way to justify it, doesnt matter if you dont drive fast, maybe you can pull this off on a accord sedan but not a civic coupe .. but whatever floats your boat and at least its not a si
