Hondas hate Hondas

So I have to say im pretty tired of Hondas hating other Hondas. Its bad enough that I have to deal with Lifted trucks and V8s. Im seriously considering getting rid of my Si. Why is it that we all hate on each other? I think im gonna trade it in for a new G37 and become one of the honda haters. Just become sick of all the bull shit that comes with owning a honda.

there will always be jealousy. honda owner to honda owner...maybe one has more/nicer aftermarket parts, or one thinks they are a better driver.

I'm shocked at how many idiots this forum holds. Truly.

I agree with the OP. I get tired of other Civic owners giving me dirty looks or completely ignoring me. A wave, smile, or thumbs up would be appreciated. I do it to them.

I'm also tired of idiots with their riced Integras and Civics trying to race me.

But what I am most sick of...is the idiots on this forum who truly believe that the Civic is a flawless vehicle, and that the pressing problems plaguing the Civic line don't exist, or exist only in the eyes of the Honda owners who don't have their head shoved up American Honda's asses.

How's the view up there, guys?

(Disclaimer: No car is perfect. I realize that. Others on this forum should as well. Bashing on other Civic owners because their car isn't as incredible as yours is not only childish, it makes you look like an absolute fool. Honda is just like any other car company).

Ok #1, who cares what other people think about your car?

#2 I had a WRX when they first came out, and getting a thumbs up from other drivers was cool and all, but honestly who gives a F***?

#3 I have been more critical about the SI than most people on here, but come on lets face it, its a really nice car. Especially for the money.

I just drove a 135i the other day, and got back into my car and was glad I own the SI. Sure the 135 was fast, but it just felt like a bucket of bolts.

I think the BIGGEST problem with Civic's on this forum, is that everyone is jumping to modify them, and is using really crappy parts. Just because AEM, Injen, etc make parts that fit, and made good parts in the past, doesn't mean they are good now.

My car is back to stock now, and I am loving it. I've traded tons of cars over the years, and even my RSX-S which had a MUCH WORSE gear grinding problem than the SI's will ever have, truthfully was probably still a great car.

I'm no honda lover, but the SI is awesome. Its factory tuned for the street, and is more fun to drive than most cars costing twice the price. The handling is incredibly crisp, the clutch and tranny (when not acting up) are smooth as butter compared to other cars, and the overall experience is awesome, and fun to drive.

All BS aside here's the truth:

Your civic's will never be the fastest cars on the road. But realize that people try to race you, because they RESPECT your car. When I first got my SI, I had big block V8 trying to race me all the time.

Honda's are incredibly well built, and all the nitpicky issues people are having with them aside, they are fantastic cars that can be driven hard for 100k miles without a tune-up.

Just 2 cents from a guy who has owned just about everything.

I just get mad when someone buys a car that has been used and abused by ricers knowing that already and then they want to complain that people hate on them.

If you bought a car for less then 24k you should expect a nice car not a perfect car. sure its new but my new nikes were scratched. My new shirt had a string hanging off of it. So what. just like your car for what it is and what you paid for it.

If you wanted a better car you shouldve paid more and I bet that even then you would not be happy. If someone waves at me while im driving im gonna ram my car into you cause i dont know you.

If y'got an Aston or a Zonda, some of the nitpicky ones here would DIE of shit always going wrong.

Anyway, back to the OP topic. It happens, and happens a lot with a lot of cars. If you don't want to deal with it, fine. However, I fail to see the reason you'd get rid of a nice car when you can just simply tune them out.
