Best city to live while attending ASU.

Hey, sorry I did not notice this thread a little earlier, hope this won't be too late to help...

OK so I have been living in AZ for about 14 years... 14 years too long, anyways. ASU is a HUGE school and there are a ton of places to live. It really all depends on where you live/work/go to school. The whole place is really spread out. I did my undergrad in Tucson, and I am doing my post grad up here at ASU. I work for a pretty large company, and they have me out in Fountain Hills. So I live in Scottsdale. Its about 11 miles to ASU and there is usually not too much traffic at the times I go. Work is about 4 miles in the other direction so its really not that bad. If I were you, I would check out the places you are looking at personally. Just because someone likes it or tells you its great doesn't necessarily mean it is great for YOU.

Also, you should definitely check out Tucson, I don't remember who said it, but whoever did was right, Tucson is far better. Much quieter, nicer people, and personally I thought it was a lot more fun.
