Lol. The Dam is not far.

The last big 8th meet did the Valley of Fire one day, and RR Canyon the next over the big weekend.

Maybe I just don't have this in perspective? Is this a time, or money issue for folks? Or both?

I guess my perspective comes from being a sportbike junkie when I was younger (okay, that was some time ago...). When we'd meet we would always cruise somewhere fun for pictures, hanging out, etc. Or start at some place like a park, then take a great drive. That is the attraction for me. I want to DRIVE.

That is why we are enthusiasts, right? The driving part

You know what, next time you (or somebody) should just make a thread with everything already organized because we never get anywhere with "TBDs" and it takes too long to make decisions. People will always show, flake, whatever regardless of when and where it is anyway. IF YOU BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME!

id rather have people suggest then set something and them complain later.

what about mt charleston. decently far away, and right now its probably REALLY nice since its springish. we could meet at like sante fe station or texas station and roll out as quickly as possible lol. or some where near/on rancho. or even at that in n out that i forget what street its on. or a sonic? SUGGEST.

we live in vegas, going to the valley of fire isnt really convincing...

I don't mind driving out to places like Valley of Fire, but I just can't do a whole day. 4-5 hours is usually the max time I have during a sunday.

I'd have to pass on Mt. Charleston though, just cus these tires are bad enough for wet, I don't want to know what happens in a snowy road.

hoover dam. janizary leads. meet at hollywood park @ 12 wait for the weak till 1:00pm drive out to hoover dam. again janizary has to direct us cause i havent been out there since i was about 9.

if this doesnt grab attention idk what will. a stripper?

I agree with moving it back a week, and with hoover dam.

Back a week would probably work well for me. And it would allow me to scout the new layout of the dam parking as I've not been there since the change. As well as see how crowded the upper AZ side lot is.

Some elevate pics backed up to the edge of the lot would look fantastic as a backdrop for the cars.

I've got a couple of FG2 hood bras that I might give away as well (OEM and Magnetbra) for folks who attend the meet.
