lol not doubting you just seems strange to me. maybe its because the is350 has really short gearing? doesn't it have like an 8speed or something? don't know what else could explain the wide gap in the performance numbers compared to the g35, etc..

The IS350 has a 6AT. The IS-F has the 8AT.

I have to say, however, that the 350 shifts damn fast for an automatic. It shifts much faster on its own than I can shift using the flappy paddle gear box in manual mode.

Interesting that the TL-S and the G35 in the comparo are both manuals as well. If you read a lot of auto reviews and comparos we are starting to see a lot of fast shifting auto-boxes.
