Hey guys I finally got off my butt and joined this forum after being told this is where all the HI civic guys hang out. I got a 06 Si Silver one it was as far as I know the first one in the state. I have talked to a few of you guys around the island. But the biggest reason I came here is trying to get more of you guys out for the SCCA Auto Cross. I am the only 8th Gen out there and would like a few others to up the competition. There is plenty of room at the events for more guys. If any of you guys need or want information on the events you can go to www.hawaiiscca.org. or you can PM me. Here are a few pictures of my car. Hope to see you guys around at some events or on the road.

Hey 1st Hi 06 Si,
Nice car, Clean install on the sounds. So you're on of the 1st lucky ones to get your car here on the island. Did you get your car in Dec. I hear the 1 set of Si's that came in were Silver. I think they were 2 silvers and a white? I placed a depost way back in Nov. 05. Mines came in late Jan. but didn't pick it up till the middle of FEB. I was told the 2nd batch of Si's to the islands was 2 NBP and red? I was one of the 1st with a NBP. I've seen a few other Si's on the road. Need to get ahold and have a Civic meet. Aloha.

I haven't seen any FG2's on the forumshawaii site yet. There was a EP3 driver that was hatting on my car but other than that mostly hatches and integs. I would be down for a cruse, Just let me know. Cant on the 28th got the SCCA racing.

Yeah I got mine at Tony, it was the VERY first one in. They are the highest volume dealer so they got one first and my wife just happen to be there when they drove it on the lot from the dock. Yeah, I think phluger (sp) got the second one and it was Black from what they were saying, but all and all they are full of sh!t so who knows. strCivic, there is one Si that actually has a paint job as well, the half back and half silver. Pretty nice looking, but yours is just the FG1 is it gets docked some style points :P Plus you were taking all your CF off aren't you?

I just drive mine, at the moment. I'll mod it after the warranty is gone and its paid for. Until then, if I want to go fast, I'll get on my crotch rocket. I've got a FBP with a silver "HONDA" on the rear bumper.

You can touch it and not void your warranty. Putting FI in will give them some thing to argue with, but they have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the mod directly caused the problem. They are not legally allowed to deny you warranty claim just because you have a mod on your car.

What jammer did you get? I was thinking about getting one of those. Any experience with it yet on how well it works. I almost got busted today on my way our to Kapolei, but they were just sitting and watching no guns out.

I have the M20 x-Treme laserjammer made by Blinder, from Denmark. My friend sells them. He had sold them on Ebay, but they banned him. From what I hear it works good. When you get hit, it sets off audio and visual alarms and sends a false return to the gun. When all this happens slow down. The instruction tell you turn it off after the 1st hit. I guess it maybe illegal in some states. aloha.

I'm guessing illegal in all states since it directly tampers with their gun. But I would defiantly use on, but I tend to drive nice when I am in my Si on public roads. I get to get most of my speed aggression out in the Auto-x course. It would be more fun if more of you Si guys would come out.

the only reason why we young gunners don't come out on the auto x course cuz
1. we not into that kind of stuff
2. this is the only daily driven car we have
3. busy from school and work
4. don't got the money to mod the car

ever since the si came out...i only see 2 old folks driving and the rest youngens'... i think the civic si's were meant for teenagers.. no offense but its true lols

1. you cant tell me that your not into driving your car fast if you have a Si or are into cars much at all.

2. 95% of the people at the SCCA events use their only car, it is not hard on the car.

3. The racing is on Sunday, so school usually isn't happening, and you can plan in advance to take work off.

4. I run my car stock as do arround 20 to 30 other people.

I just think you are afraid of a little competition.
