Well, the strip is still there. No one burned it down.

Anyone know if anything interesting happened? Crowd diving off of pedestrian overpasses, idiots falling of light poles? That's the best part of the New Years in Vegas, the candidates for Darwin Awards caught on tape.

this is by far my worst vegas new year... stayed all day at the hotel on new year's eve cuz of food poisoning. i totally missed all the activities at the strip and fireworks etc. sucks! worst thing is my usual 3.5 hour drive home became a 7 hour nightmare cuz of horrible traffic.

Only 1 DUI in the whole town? That doesn't sound right.

We usually have pretty much par with Calif. on gas prices. Sounds like we may be having some benefit at the moment. What are you paying for regular out there? $3.40'ish?

As a side note: I went to fill up my jeep the other night and for the first time hit the $50 CC limit at the pump, before it was actually full. I had to go to a 2nd statin to complete my fill as my card would not work at the station for a '2nd' time. What a PITA.

The price is going back up again . I usually stick with Shell but they have had the biggest price jump the last few days.

Chevron is back up to about 3.25-3.29 depending on where in town you live.
