That was the last one for this year, don't know when the next one is. I ran 15.5 @ 91 twice. They were almost identical. Really crappy traction/wheelhop is the main problem. When I hear about the next track day I'll let you guys know.

Haven't even seen an Si Sedan on the road yet. I know Roger from ClubSi has one, but I've only seen his pics.

i think it is lol. atleast 2000ft. I live southwest around blue diamond / durango area and acording to my Navigation its 2780ft above sea level. When i was in cali it was like 120ft. And here in vegas my car feels like it looses power b/w2.5K - 3.0K RPM but in cali it doesnt do that.

I got drug out to the track last night. My friend was running his modded G35C for the first time and wanted some 'moral support' lol. I did not run, but I go now and then with friends. Since they do not use the trees in the 'normal' manner for last night's events (for the 'street' drivers at least, they used them normally for the dedicated drag cars) reaction times were horrible for a large number of drivers (no amber/green launches).

I do go out to a number of Auto-X events and run in the G-Stock class. More about fun factor than actually competing for me though. I just like driving the little car around

and for the auto-x how difficult is that?

Last night was fairly packed. Still made 7 runs from start to finish over several hours, so I would guess that it was less packed than the midnight mayhem you attended.

Reaper, I would suggest reading some of the literature on auto-X. Difficulty is hard to define. It certainly is 'difficult' when you first come out and have to learn how auto-X works, versus drag racing and GP (my favorite) racing is done. Auto-X is great fun whether you decide to compete or just come out for some fun runs around the cones (best done with a few friends to give each other hell). If you are interested, just come out and watch an event or two to see how it is done. You see cars from stock Kia Rios (no kidding) to completely modded 911s running on the course. The best thing is you are only competing against other cars in your class and modification category and everyone has fun.

One of the more interesting things is Vegas has a LOT of well-to-do folks with more money than sense coming out to these events. You get a chance to see cars you might otherwise never get to see running a course, or even in person for that matter.

Hello everyone. As the title says, this is my first post. I figure I'd post here first because 1) i live here and 2) i don't have my Si yet, but plan to get one soon. Anyway, back to the subject at hand. I have been reading this site for about a month now and figure i'd put some of my info of car knowledge. I used to drive a 2002 RSX-S when I was in cali and ran at LACR every friday. I was also an avid user of Socalrsx.com

There is a conversion chart link for the high sea level. I plan to get a HRP coupe w/ navi in the near future...at least I hope. I just had an interview with a company that will pay pretty good for someone who only has an associates degree. Thanks for reading and happy driving!

Welcome to the site, NVmySi.

Hope you are getting your SI from Shack/Findlay (or out of town), as Honda West is a complete rip off, and Desert Honda thinks they can gouge you for their worthless 'desert protection package'.

x2 shack-findlay or nothing because the other 2 are garbage stealerships!
talk to the internet manager over shack-findlay (forgot his name). he is very helpful and doesn't not pressure you nor make you add BS to the car to rack up the price.

ps. sweet ******* color choice, HRP ftmfw!
