Due to users abusing the Chat threads, and violating the site rules in them, the old threads have been closed and new ones opened only under these conditions:

• Posts related to selling items absolutely will not be tolerated.
  Any failure to comply with this rule will result in the member being banned without question, and if this continues to be a problem the thread will be permanently closed and all duplicate threads will be closed as well, with the OP's account subject to administrative actions taken.
• No street racing posts, no exceptions.
  Don't try to be clever in circumventing the rules either, it's pretty obvious when a racing post is legal or illegal, this includes activities that take place on "closed roads/airstrips" and suggestive locations like at "the track" to avoid confusion provide time slips. If there is any doubt the post will be deleted.
• Do not argue and bicker.
  This is supposed to be a friendly place, not a battleground. If you have an issue with another member please either take it to PM or notify a moderator so we can mediate the problem and, hopefully, resolve it.
• Posting any nudity or links to pornographic sites (or sites with pornographic ads) will result in an instant ban, no questions asked.
• No posts in any language other than English.
  Failure to comply with this will result in the thread will be the thread will be permanently closed and all duplicate threads will be closed as well, with the OP's account subject to administrative actions taken.
• No discussion of anything possibly related to copyright infringement.
  This is a legality issue, and as such we take it very seriously.
• No post whoring.
  
  If you want to whore, take it to VIP,if you're not VIP, now is a great time to consider joining. Posts that are considered whoring will be deleted.
  
• Don't violate any of the other rules found here.

If these rules are broken again, the chat threads will get closed and will not be reopened. Individuals who violate these rules will get a 7 day ban.

In response to the other thread...

Ryan- The reason for wanting to know is due to I know my car will fail emissions. So the day I have to put it back to stock or swap out parts is the day I am taking it all off and selling the car lol. I just renewed my tags which made me think of what the actual year is I have to get emissions. Thats all.

As for the wheels, I don't really like them. But if you do then go for it.

Dan= Sucks about the pug getting sick. As for the movie I would hope since being down there and going on opening weekend to a big movie and paying full price that we would be going to AMC 24. Seems the the best theater to go spend $$$ at lol.

The 5th year is when you start needing to get emissions done. I bought my 06 in Oct 05, still havent had to do a emissions yet. I will in October.

There's easy ways to bypass the emissions. You could just pay someone local with a black civic to just drive by the Aircare stations twice, a few months before your re-registration. Obviously they need to be in good emissions condition and theyll be running your plates for a few hours.

But it sounds like you just want a new car, lol

Avan- Yeah I do want a new car or at least will by then. But that also means more payments. Maybe Dan will want to drive by air testers for me? Lol. But then 2 days after he does I'll drive by one and fail it lol.

Looks like you get your wish Corey, those velox wheels were 4 bolt. Had it posted in the first sentence of his ad and somehow my reading skills got the best of me, lame. So I'm for sure spraying the stockies. Obviously I needs to take em off my car so anyone has a jack I could borrow next week? I'll put my lower rear tie bar on while I'm at it.

But you don't know if that actually works yet do you? In other words you have not had to get emissions on yours yet to know if it passed or not?

Also I'm guessing that was pre charger. Post charger and no CAT = very hard to pass. At least I'm thinking it would. Forrest was supposed to get his tested so we knew if they will pass with charges but juked that out.

Unless your car is puffing out black smoke when idling, when you drive through these things just take your foot completely off the gas and that, for a fact, works. As far as having another car drive through it for you, that's a negative if that was being said seriously. If not then I'm just timmy the tool and heed me no mind.

i would assume if my engine was off i'd have absolutely nothing coming out of my exhaust except what was left in the pipes. I make sure i get a good running start and then turn it off so it had a few seconds to clear whatevers in there. i'm sure its less that what cars that are borderline passing are spewing out.

either way, i'm pretty close to the emission time and i havent gotten anything in the mail or anything. you can always call and ask how you know if you passed the sniffers or not
