Didn't want I double post, has anyone plastidipped their hood flat black made a clear bra? I am ordering clear n black and doing my front end clear n rims black for the winter. Maybe we can get a group plastidip

I have seen people do body parts before...and i think your all good. Like Jason said i have done a few sets of wheel sand did my brothers chrome bumpers and it looked great and lasted for a while too. My bro has had it on his wheels for over 2 months now. No chips or peels or anything.

Awesome! As long as it doesn't affect the new front end honda painted, I will try to do a clear bra n see how that holds up.

Well only reason I wanted to do a clear bra was because winter is coming. Do you really think a clear coat of plastidip would do more damage than all the chemicals n rocks on the road after a snow day? I would peel it off around mid march.

I would say go ahead and do it...like you said it would be better to do it now before winter comes...

Some advice i can give you is when you do your hood make sure you wrap around the front of it towards the grill. When i got my front end done with clear bra they didnt wrap the front of the hood and now i have chips on it..looks like ****.

Negative, I bought my car from a broker. Shipped from VA or PA iirc.. I just get my warranty claims done by them. First was my tranny third gear now paint. I do buy my oil filters from them if that matters any which I doubt because the manager didn't check if i had any prior work done. He just checked the crows feet and scheduled me a rental which I guess lucky me, something they don't normally do.

I'm sending my old fa5 to the dealer soon too. Hope they give it to me as well. Every time i talk to them, they always try to get out of giving me a loaner. Go Honda ftl
