as long you go to driving school...it wont be on your record ...

i have 7 points on my record...but i a long period of time.....

cant do the driving school thing anymore since you can take it every so often after you get a ticket.

its kinda hard not to speed, not saying my car is fast but i just dont like going slow. it just doesnt feel right....

true, oh well i guess ill try. but why make fast cars or mods to make cars faster (again not refering to my car but in general) if we have speed laws? is it just for the gov. or state to make more money?

well my very first one i dont remember but the last ticket i got was $245 i was going 50 in a 35 and today i got pulled over for going 82 in a 65 but the cop let me off with a warning which was cool of him. oh yea and he told me the next time i got pulled over by a motorcycle cop that for me to stop in shade haha

common is that a serious question? they do it for safety cuz some people out there dont know how to handle speed. Yea i usually drive like 5-10 miles over the speed limit only when im not by other cars. If you think about it speeding is not worth it. Pay for ticket 150+, pay for traffic school, insurance goes up... blah, blah, blah. Takes too much money out of your pocket when you get caught. so how are we suppose to take out all those females you get with our 8th gens? haha

I just went to traffic school, here are some interesting facts for those in AZ.

Also to anwser your question, you have 8 points, you lose 2 per tickect if a normal civil traffic.

So 07mugencivic has 1 point before he loses his license.

NEVER GO OVER 85mph, if you are pulled over and get a ticket for going 85mph or higher, that is an excessive speeding ticket. It is a felony, you can go to jail for it, it costs 8 points to your license, you lose it for 6 months. There is also a huge ass fine. If the speedlimit is 84, and you do 86 and get pulled over, you gonna get the excessive.

Never drive in a lane that is closest to a pulled over cop. Meaning when there is a cop who pulled someone over, and you are in the lane right next to them while they are on the side of the road, you can get a ticket for it, since it is the #1 cause of death for cops in AZ. Get over the next lane if you can.

You can get a ticket for peeling out, you can get a ticket for going the speed limit lol, you can get a ticket for driving in the suicide lane.

I'll look at my notes when I get home, but there is a whole list of traffic laws you guys should be aware of. The most important one is, don't speed over 85, its gonna suck.

I try to not go over 5mph. also be aware that they just funded for about 1000+ traffic cameras to be installed.

Oh, you can go to traffic school once every 2 years to avoid getting points taken off your license, and paying the ticket. Driving with a suspended license is a felony.

Who here is paying an arm and a leg for insurance? You can go to traffic school for $30, and it can lower your insurance, just ask your insurance company. It also doesn't count against your 2 year thing, and its quite informative.

hehe, yea sorry about that. In AZ points drop after 2 years. so if you get 8 points within 2 years, you lose your license.

i think you can only get 2-3 or less points per year....you cant get 2 points in less than 6 months ...something like that

well no i totally understand alot of ppl cant handle that speed but you also have those ppl who cant get up to the speed limit. which is pretty annoyin.

wow thats some pretty interesting stuff, i didnt know about that whole not drvinin in the lane nearest where the cop pulled someone over. but ill deff try not to speed so much id rather have the money for my mods or the ladies like stated ha. and i heard about all those cameras they are bringing in too, but even the guy who made the technology for those cameras said he made them to make the $$$

driving 85mph plus is not a felony its a class 3 misdomenor and its like $440 for the ticket ask me how i know and if you guys say that a ticket is 2pts then i have 1pt left but heres something you probably didnt know you can ex-sponge a ticket if the judge says so yes 6 months after the ticket is paid meaning the points go back on your license and off your record
