Angry Stole my keys

Ok so the other day I'm in walmart doing some shopping getting some synthetic for my vehiclular asset and tell me why some asshole decides its a great idea to lift my keys off of me without me knowing just to have a set of honda keys. talk about low life! I had to vent... so irritating and to make matters worse I had to sit by the car for a half an hour just to make sure no one would try to pick up my car and had to wait for my valet key. AHHH
soo yeah i hope this never happens to anyone else.

How are you so positive that somebody stole them off you? How do you know that you didnt drop them?

You should have asked to see the security cameras

asked them about the cameras... theyre checking... how I know they were lifted because I had attached them via a D ring to my belt loop... hence they would had to have lifted it and pulled... dont know how I didnt feel it.

If by "D-Ring" you mean a carabiner (which is what I assume that means) I can't imagine how someone would be able to get those from you. Was the clip left on your belt with the keys gone, or was the whole clip gone?

I always thought someone could steal someones keys pretty easily when I see folks with using clips to hold it to their belt loop.

I think the clip is retarted, walking around with the keys jiggling... I laugh when I see people walking around with 50 keys hanging on their belt. If they were in your pocket, it would not have happened. But then again, where there's a will there's a way. They must have really wanted that key.

That's actually why I added a long rope I salvaged from my old snowboard bindings, and put them on the carabiner. That way, the keys are attached to me, and long enough to fit in my pocket, so they don't jingle and catch attention.

those things are sooooooooo easy to steal off someone without them realizing it. In HS all my friends and I wore them and would lift em off eachother just for fun. Definately not a safe way to carry keys

I carry my keys with that ring. I wear them on the back of my pants and the keys hang low enough for me to put them in my back pocket. So, I don't really worry about anyone stealing them, and they don't jingle.

Ok heres the update. I had it on the belt loop its really impossible. D ring and everything was gone... d ring is what we call it in the army... sowwy. usually I do stuff them in the pockets while their attached but unfortunatley that day the pockets didnt align with the loops hence hanging... I am getting a new autopage alarm system and change the imobilizer codes instead of switching the locks.

on the belt loop, i didn't know people wore them on around their actual belt, it seems uncomfortable but obviously safer.
