Dating... With Children

So any of you folks ever date someone with kids? A buddy of mine just got out of a similar situation. I have to admit that while I love kids and may have some of my own someday, I try not to get involved with a woman who has kids. If I were to date someone with children, I think I would have to make it a point to not really see the kids until I knew where the relationship was going. What do you all think?

I hate kids and don't want any personally. Luckily my fiance wants them even less than I do! If I could stand them then I'd wait till I knew the relationship was going to be more than a few months before meeting the kids. If it didn't feel like it was going to be something meaningful and long term, no point bringing the kids into it and confusing them.

me personally i've dated only one with kids and my guys gave me more shit than anybody else... if you think it will make dating for you easier to hold off on seeing her kids then do it to it..

i had a similiar situation, but, we were just friends

and every time i would go over to hang out i would end up bonding with her kid who was like 9 (she was 32; i being 21).

so, it got pretty odd.

I've never dated anyone with kids.

I "flirted" with a girl back in my college years that had a young son. We started to "mess" around in the bedroom one day and I quickly realized it just wasn't comfortable getting involved with her both relationship and sexual wise with her having a son. After that, nope, never again.

I've dated one and its too much baggage I think, plus you have to deal with the kids dad still being in her life.
