My friend has his F250 dump truck for sale and he is getting LOADS of spam emails. He started sending pictures of dicks to some of them and they are even responding saying thanks for the quick response, but you forgot to include your address, hahaha. The rest he just says f*ck off to.
You can always spot the scams because the english is really broken, they always seem to use item instead of typing what it is, and want to use some sort of BS check. |

Cert. Bank Checks can have stop payments on them too. By the time he goes to cash it , its already been stopped hes out the money. Nothing is as good as Cash.

These scammers basically forge a cashier's check, making you believe that it's legit. Your bank will process it, credit your account, then come back to you a month or so later telling you it was a fake. Basically, there's no protection from that, so they will take their money back. Since it's been a month already, and it came on a certified check which initially cleared the bank, you would have already shipped off the item and the excess funds since they almost always issue the check for more than what you were asking. The behaviors are pretty much the same with these scammers......
1. thayre engrish suks ballz. 2. They offer up a cashier's check and tell you that they'll wait for you to deposit it and clear the bank. 3. They talk about sending a "shipper" to pick up the item. 4. Sometimes they will issue the "check" for more than what you asked for and ask you to send back the difference. So now they get your items and your money. 5. You can reply with an email that threatens them, insults their parents, and tell them to go for a ride on a bull's horns, and they'll always respond with a "Thank you, but we haven't received your address and account number." Do not get lulled into a false sense of security with the promise of a certified or cashier's check. If it ain't paid for with cash, it stays with me. |
