. . . exactly my friend. . . if someone walks up to you and pulls a gun out and shoots you in the head . . . what are cops gunna do .. . prevent it from happening? wether you die or live it still happened and there is nothing they could have done to prevent it what so ever again i say all they can do is investigate it after it happened

I had a roommate who left the country and gave me a check for their last month's rent. I deposited it, it cleared with my bank, i spent the funds, whatevs. 2 weeks later My account balance is out $600. I called my bank they said the check bounced. I obviously was very pissed about how it "cleared" and then suddenly didn't clear. I left the bank, told them i would never do business with them again, and that I would slander them. On that note NEVER BANK WITH CIBC!!! They simply told me "We will have creditors after you if you dont pay us back." So i payed. Clifnotes: If someone gives you a check and it clears, it can still bounce and you will be responsible. It's ridiculous. |

Another Scam type e-mail?? What do you guys think? It's funny because I was actually trying to sell my system to get cash to join the gym...but I think it's a scam...
"hi, would u like to trade your xbox for three 12 month all club membership passes to 24 hour fitness? u can use them for yourself/family or sell them on craigslist/ebay for $250 to $330 each... these are for access to active, sport, shaq, and magic johnson 24 hour fitness locations. each pass has a hologram and an individual serial number to ensure validity. there are NO FEES WHATSOEVER with these passes. this is not a scam, this is real... let me know if ur interested... i can't sell them myself but i can trade them..." |

My local police didn't give a rat’s ass so I tracked the guy down myself. Found out from local tax records that he open several shell companies and used those companies to buy random items. To make a long story short I track down an address to a plot of land next do to a large gas station and garage. I called the garage and asked to speak with ***** (can't remember his name at the moment). Some guy came on and asked who's calling. Told him Chris was calling and to F off for trying to scam me. |
