Starting an eCommerce Store

Hello Everyone,

I am going to start a car performance store, but I have no idea where to get the parts. I tried searching for drop shippers that supply car performance parts, but I have yet to find any.

Can anyone lead me in the right direction as to where to go with this or some companies that are in the car performance drop ship business?

If you have to come onto the 8th to ask this kinda stuff, wait. Take some business classes, you're only 19. You can't just start a business - that's why most fail.

i do make some money online. i just want to make more lol. i am very interested in business and how it works. i've read alot of books too. what i am really looking for is a company that dropships auto performance products since i dont haveda warehouse to store anything in. thanks for your honest response

You wont find them on the net you gotta start networking with different companys and get them to drop you names of distributers and what not.

You gotta know someone to make money.

Well if you're truly serious about this, this is what I'd do. Start going to company sites like skunk2.com, dcsports.com, etc etc and email them. Ask them what their policy is for distrbuting their products. If they're willing to drop-ship(?) for you, then find out what it takes to become a resaler.

I think a good avenue would be eBay. All the infrastructure (in terms of systems, security, payment, advertizing, etc) are already in place.

Yes, competition is fierce, but that's a risk you'll have to take as a new business.

Thanks everyone for your great replies. I am really interested in putting this all together. Granted I am only 19 I think that if I truly work hard at this I can succeed at it.

Hopefully, I will be a new 8thcivic sponsor!
