So i totaled my r18 and now i am shopping for a new car.
I am 18 and my parents kicked me off their insurance so i have get my own policy. I am going for 4 door 4 cylinders.

Right now i am looking at a 02 sentra se-r...for 8k with 85k miles
i have received a quote and it seems good

anyone with good or bad experiences or help

I dont know the story behind how you totaled your car, but if its your fault that its totaled, and you're only 18, id stay away from anything thats sold as a performance model because insurance was gonna rape you already just for being 18

i hit a tree, but yeah i have done some reserch and i got a quote on it from usaa(i was with htem on my parents insurance and they were good ot me so i figured i would stay) and it was 189 a month. so i figured with the money i get from insurance from my civic i can purchase the car and have enough to pay the frist six months and have some left over to save while i work

I would suggest getting a last gen corolla. They look great modified, get great gas mileage, and should be pretty cheap on insurance.

Or you could think about getting a 7th gen civic. Those also look great modified, they're really safe, get great gas mileage, and are very cheap to insure.

Just my .02

Ion redline They're cheap to buy and surprisingly cheap to insure. And quick, although that's probably something you don't need

If you're going to be paying for insurance as well, I'd rather gloss over that SE-R or performance-minded cars. Especially at the tender age you are. Just some advice.
