Benny The Bull gets sued for high-five gone awry

High Five Gone Awry

People are getting really ridiculus with this sue-happy shit.

From what it sounds like, is that the mascot fell and tried to brace himself.

I don't understand what's ridiculous about that. If it had happened to you, wouldn't you want them to pay your medical bills and lost wages from not being able to work? Now if he sues for $10million bones out of physical/mental pain or w/e, then that's ridiculous.

Yeah, this one isn't too ridiculous as others. As long that it isn't some extravagant amount I don't see this as a problem.

But what a pansy. Who get's beaten up by a mascot? I would keep that on the downlow and see if I could get me some codones and man up.

Ok, I'll agree it's not as bad as some.

So i'll refrase my eariler comment. I just think it's dumb to be in the front row and not be prepared for something to happen.

Yeah, I really want to see a video of this. I can't imagine all that damage was done by just this.

But no doubt are you right about these situations. This Sue-happy shit needs to end.

im sorry but if you miss 4 months of work + have a surgeory, i think your entitled to something.

except he should be suing the stadium/team whoever employs benny, and not his person.

I say a free t-shirt and a plastic inflatible basketball should take care of this incident.

I think the only fair solution is to take this to Thunderdome. Two men enter, one man leaves.

Kalant stayed for the rest of the game but later had surgery and could miss as much as four months of work, Kasserman said.

I would guarentee the guy's got business interruption insurance anyways....

So stupid....

This guy must have really wanted to see the rest of that game.

Kind of hard to make up a ruptured bicep lol.. not like he did the surgery on himself.

Eh that's not really the same. Do you think someone should EXPECT this to happen? I don't.

Plus you really have no idea what kind of insurance he has so you can't really make that claim. All in all, I am very, very against sue-happy assholes who sue over any chance they get, but you better beleive I'd take this one to court. No doubt about it - it's justifiable imo.
