This is not a good look for the rest of the game. IMO. Czech has had most of the posession time.

Did anyone watch the Japan/Australia match???? Amazing upset for the Stralians. They had 3 goals in 8 minutes starting at the 83rd minute. AMAZING I tell ya.

Lets PRAY for a tie with the Italy & Ghana game. Its prety much our only hope now that we're down 3 goals. If we end up winning one game and the other with a tie, with only 4 points its down to goal differentials, and being already down 3 isn't all that great. :-(

Damn, if I was still living in Germany, I'd be right in the middle of the fun. Was stationed in Ramstein which is just outside Kaiserslautern - one of the venues. Which does not mean I would have been able to get a ticket however. LOL.

Too bad for the US team. I know they were trying. Only got bits and pieces of the game via the 'net. I'm a big fan of McBride. Knew him somewhat when he played for the nearby Columbus Crew. You'd figure with 50 million little kids playing soccer these days that Americans would take a bit more interest in their national team. There's even an American finally racing in Formula 1 (my favorite sport) and it doesn't seem that he gets much acknowledgement from the US. Go Scott Speed!! What a damn cool name too. How could you NOT be a racer if your name was Speed. Sorry for getting sidetracked.

USA will comeback in the next few games hopefully. Wonder if Koller is messed up for a while. Didn't he have knee surgery or something recently?

honestly... i dont see the USA team in the next round... youre in a very difficult group, whit 2 europeans and 1 african... in my personal opinion... your chances will be in the game whit ghana, and it isnt a piece of cake...

btw i think that this world cup is the most competitive in last 4 editions... you see T&T tie whit Sweden, Ecuador defeat Poland, Angola whit some amateur players almost tie whit Portugal, Argentina suffer whit Cotê d'Ivoire, Mexico also suffer whit Iran, and many other games...
