Oh my God, I got drunk and tried to paint my Civic Si...by hand... with WalMart paint

I don't even know how to explain it. I decided to paint my Civic Si a shade of white resembling Championship White. I drank too much, grabbed some paint and a brush, and just went at it. What have I done? I've ruined it. There's no way insurance would ever cover this. What should I do? Any estimates to have it professionally repainted. I didn't even tape off the windows, so I'll have to scrape off that paint before I even think about getting the situation assessed by a professional. Oh my gosh. I'll never drink again

Okay. Obligatory pictures of the Civic Si before and after drunken shenanigans

Before:

And sadly, after:

It's just soooooo rough. I need to sand it, clear it, pain the roof, headlights, and taillights black... not to mention paint the overlap on the spoiler and rear diffuser black. This project went terribly wrong

I don't know! Maybe 2 hours?? Am I better off just sanding it and clearing it until I can get it professionally evaluated? It'll be another month or so before my parents see the car.

Oh sh*t. I just checked and I'm out of high grit sanding paper. I'll have to run by Lowe's tomorrow to get this done right. The more I sober up, the more I realize the mistake I've made help me!!!

OK OK, ive done this before, YOU NEED NEONS STAT!!!, strap them to the bottom of it and light up the car, that will didstract everyonr away from the paint...

then try some 20's(20mm) RIMS!!!, that should also distract too... first of all clean the windows...

Oh god... does anybody know where I can get 20 millemeter rims for a Civic Si? What offset/lift do I need? I'm cleaning the windows with a razor as I speak How about neons? Do any vendors offer neon tubes less than 3cm in length that run on watch batteries? Sh*t, I'm starting to think this is a problem money won't fix.

This is so painful. I'm thinking about just dropping my car off at a professional tomorrow and taking the bus to an AA meeting. This is miserable

On top of this, I've just found out my Turbo Mafia exhaust and Circuit City sound system that are in progress are both starting to get delays and are screwing up my daily driveablilty. Can anyone save me?

Haha, same here. I was going to tell him that sometimes people reach a point in life when they do something stupid enough that they just need to stop drinking, forever...your time is now.

Doesn't look that bad though, in the one blurry pic.

My wife got me a little toy motorcycle for Christmas.
Ha ha ha, very funny. Loved ones can be cruel.
Anyhoo, we can all get together and play with the bike and our Si's on my hot wheels track!

You may just want to take it out tonight, push it into a puddle, and tell the insurance company that it was stolen.

This thread does not deliver.

I was expecting hilarity, but instead what I got was laughing. There is a clear difference.
