Where to go for vacation?

So this summer I'd like to go on vacation with my girl and she wants to go somewhere that has a beach. Any suggestions? I was thinking hawaii but I don't know where in hawaii.

I hear you can live pretty well in the Phillipines for not much money and they have some nice beaches.

What kind of budget are you looking at?

Aruba, Cozumel, Bahamas, Riviera Maya......wayyyy before Hawaii. $$$$$$ and for you, length of flight alone would make me lean in the carribean area.

The budget is $4500 for flight and hotel at the most. Problem is if I went to carribean would I need my passport? It expired this past January so I'd have to get a new one and I got mine when I was 15 so I'd have to send all my crap in again

Golf, Wright Bros Memorial, Jockey's Ridge Sand Dunes, Lighthouses, Lost Colony

Also... I wouldnt get a hotel. Get one of the houses in the Village. VERY nice houses and should fit into your budget.... unless you try and get one of the huge ones on the water.

You should get your passport no matter what happens, but if you want to stick in the US, you would probably want to stick with San Diego, Florida or Hawaii. On your budget your not going to last forever in any of these areas, but you should do well for a week.

If you go to Hawaii, Oahu would probably give best mix of things to do. I think Maui is a little nicer for just beach relaxing and a slow daily pace.

Jamaica, Antingua, Aruba, USVI. Depending on where you go, it can be $$$ though.

I love all-inclusive places myself.

Being a bit older myself, I like Sandals resorts. A bit quieter (though a few cater to a younger crowd, like Sandals-Montego Bay), no kids, and I never have to carry a wallet with me. Just make sure you get into a suite level with included concierge service. It makes a huge difference in getting cross-resort dinner reservations set up.

I just want to pay $4500 for flight and hotel. That's not my entire budget keep in mind. My whole budget is $10k if you must know...

but yes I'm checking these areas as I can because I just got busy at work

But I'll definitely check them all tonight.
