How does it feel to have the "ultimate rice machine"?

Guys, your thoughts?
Everyone thinks the civic is ultimate rice.
What are your opinions?

This thread is stupid.............

Define R.I.C.E.

R - Race
I - Inspired
C- Cosmetic
E - Enhancement

Now, Please explain to me, how the civic in its stock form is classified under this?

ANY CAR CAN BE. The civic was steriotyped this in the late 90's because of all the 80 HP motors, and 5k in rims, body kits, triple cheeseburger wings, and fart cans. I think the civic has now moved out of that steriotype, and other cars are taking over. There pleny other cars that can be said to be RICEed out. But any intelligant person that knows the meaning's not going to loosly throw the term around.

On the other hand, its the people that drive the POS boxes that are jelouse you drive a real nice car, and all they do is hate. as cat williams would say, " be happy you got haters. "

It'll always be that way because Honda was the first real popular one over here, so the market became saturated.

If Mitsubishi hit it big first, then we'd all be talking about Eclipse's and Talon's being rice. The same for Toyota or Nissan etc...

nope...

but if u seriously want to know my thoughts then they are... who cares what everyone thinks... in the end we all focus on what we like...

with that said... i've even had really successful friends/ppl (they drive cars like bmw/mercedes/porsche/gallardo/bentley/etc...) tell me that my car is a nice sporty looking car...

A Civic does not equal this:

It is a food item. To be consumed during mealtimes, and it tastes good when eaten with boldly flavored foods. Seeing as we drive Japanese cars, I will make a connection and say that rice goes good with Unagi (freshwater eel). It does not, conversely, go well with oil. Whether dinosaur oil or synthetic.

I wouldn't say that the 8th gen civic is rice, yet.... from what I can see in the area that I live in (Houston) most of the older model Civics, Eclipses, Celicas, Corrolas and so on are riced out. anyones guess to why this is as good as mine.
anyway this thread reminded me of this one really riced out car I saw one time. I was driving to a doctors appointment one day a couple of years ago when I looked out my window and saw a late 90's model Toyota Tercel that had Auto Zone spinner hubcaps, a huge APC fart can muffler, a body kit that was possibly held on by duct tape, a lovely park bench for sitting and, a killer limousine wing on the hood to keep the car stable at top speeds. please refer to the picture I drew

Usually people that can afford a new car don't "rice it out". Most of the time I see 10-15 year old imports that are "riced out". Luckily the 8th gen hasn't been out that long

If you're not driving the car, don't worry about it. I'm sure they're proud of their car and let's not rain on their parade.
