anyone learn arabic?

so i'm taking a basic arabic class this spring semester at school. it fits a requirement i need for graduation. has anyone here ever learned or tried learning this language? how hard was it?

i've been looking to getting a word in arabic tattood on me.. from what i've seen it's a pretty complex language with some crazy symbols/letters

haha when i was in iraq i learned a few words here and there........... enough to tell them to stay the f*** away! lol!

if you lived by me id let you borrow my military arabic translations and writing book..

I speak arabic fluently! Happens to be my second language. I also took arabic classes in college which was very helpful! I think youll like the language overall!

Arabic is well facinating... I know lots of people that speak it. I work with tons that do but never had a real desire to learn it.

so i can here what the damm customers are muttering about me to eachother. i calles a ad in the paper and a indan man picked up the phone and not only was he really rude but he said "there is no way i could lern such a complicated lenguge and hung up"


I think its cuz in white...

Perhaps starting with English would be a first choice :) The only arabic I can say is "How about a beer and A BBQ Pork Sandwich Friend" (Done in the Bobby Bouchet Style).
