I hate this Ice storm we had, Been with out electricity since Monday night, luckily we have a gas stove... hoping I go home and we have power

Dang man... you still out? I'm glad mine's been back on... The worst we had was Monday when it went out for like 8 hours. Hope it's on when you get home.

My power has been out since Monday evening around 8:00PM...The stove keeps its warm enough most of the time. We have trees down everywhere too... when I get power back I'll have to post some pictures. We had a bunch of power pole snap around us, I guess.

Yesterday the electric company told us that it may be next week before the power is back on..... and low this weekend is 16, I hope our water pipes don't freeze

well, my dad may have found a small generator, unfortunately our water pump is 220v so we wont be able to power it(would be nice to be able to leave the water running so the pipes dont freeze) but we might be able to power our furnace....

Or maybe if my dad goes through the trouble to go get it, our power will get turned on.
