Miyazaki is absolutely amazing.

However, I do not consider anime to be cartoons in any respect, other than that they are both animated.

I utterly love his work.

Miyazaki has every right to be called an artist, a master of his craft. I loved Howl's Moving Castle, more than I had a right to.

I never new he did Lupin the great until i did some research... I loved that cartoon! Miyazaki is defently a cartoonist and not an anime person. His style is more cartoon like...however he is so unique and thats what makes him the Master... All of his cartoons conatin a message and are great viewing for all ages.
