who most recently recieved a X intake?

When did you recieve it? Does it do everything they say? Did you have any installation problems? Is it loud inside the car?

User CP, Edit Options...

Under "Default Thread Subscription Mode" select "Do Not Subscribe" under the drop down menu.

I have it on my car, I was one of the 1st to get it. I have had it for over a month now I believe and not 1 problem so far. The sound is nice comparable to other short rams from what I have been told.

One problem I have had..

Horrible gas mileage. I cant keep my foot out of it now. I have to hear vtak!!!

I just got mine a couple days ago.....best mod I've done so far. You can definitely feel the increase in power, and the vtec "kick" sounds amazing (granted I've never had an intake before). I have a Skunk2 60mm catback exhaust, and before the intake was installed, it's all you could hear. I really started to miss hearing the engine's growl, but the intake definitely fixed that little problem.

Not once have I felt any bogging when moving from a standstill so I don't think heatsoak is an issue with this intake.

As for those who are undecided.....you really need to get one before you spend money on anything else regarding bolt-on performance. If you already own a CAI or SRI, sucker somebody (preferably not on these forums, lol) into buying it off of you and put your name on X's list. It'll probably be quite a wait but it's definitely worth it.

Also for those wanting a DIY, X's included instructions are very straightforward and easy to follow. He also lists his email in case you have any problems. Seriously, I'm pretty much a noob to all of this and the install was cake.

Anyways, I'll have some pics up ASAP.
