Amazing 'holes'...., ...sometimes know as Glory Holes

Its amazing that i had never heard of some of these holes before. They are pretty cool. it would be cool to visit the one underwater.

Wow, a hole never looked so good. The whole hole, especially the one in Belize is amazing.

Okay, here comes my inner nerd....

Blue holes like the one in Belize are incredibly common. They tend to be from two common sources. Natural springs and volcanic vents. Just as the sink hole photos have shown, that is also a common cause in the Carribbean and the atlantic.

Jersians, there is supposed to be an amazing Blue Hole with icecold water in Blue Anchor, New Jersey in Camden County. Near Sicklerville and Williamstown. The property is private and the owner does own a gun. Supposedly, if you knock on his door and ask for permission to see it he'll take you to it. I've never been there but in highschool people would always talk about it and it even made it into Weird NJ!

Kelly diamond mine is a deeply eroded volcanic neck. Being a geology student and a diamond happy female, I love knowing that two things I adore are so closely related. Blings and booms!
