A dose of reality

Hopefully this doesn't get locked. Yesterday a member posted a thread on street racing experiences and it was locked within the hour. The reason i am making this thread is so that people who DO street race can read stories of our personal experiences or any type of news on why NOT to do it (Constructive Criticism). Maybe it will be a dose of reality for street racers or maybe they will ignore this and find out the hard way. I hope not

Well i typed this last night.....

"Yea, i have a story. I was at a party once and my friend was talking trash saying that his Malibu can beat My Accord. I was with my girlfriend at the time and she needed to be home early for some dance competition she had to go to in the morning. I dropped her off home then went back to the party and raced the guy. From what i can remember i Hit 110 and i was not used to going so fast, so the intersection ahead was coming up quick. i slammed the breaks and pulled the E-brake. It did absolutely nothing but skid. I hit (T-boned) a Mini van and put it on its side. The guy i was racing wrapped around a pole. My airbags didn't deploy...his and the mini vans did. I thank god i'm still breathing today and that no one died. Broken bones, gashes, and bruises all around. What if the mini van had kids? What if that was a motorcycle? Keep it on the track bro. You might think it can never happen to you...i thought the same."

regarless, it is forbidden to start a thread that's about streetracing because it is ILLEGAL.

I guess we'll see if it gets locked. If you have nothing good to say, then don't say anything at all.

- Getting caught street racing can haunt you for years. Try getting a nice government cushy job with that in your background checks.

- Try getting any job that involves driving or a criminal background check

- The cost of legal fees, insurance, and the risk of life to yourself and others.

Stop being an almighty asshole. It has been said plenty of times not to streetrace because of the chances of getting hurt and getting innocent people hurt in the process. Even though it was a "wow- i'm so touched" story, you commited an illegal act that goes against this website's rules.
Stories about streetracing can be found all over the internet so please bear us the time to actually read your nonsense.
Go read up on the rules. Should keep you entertained for a few minutes.

As good of a message as you are trying to send, it is against the site rules to talk about street racing stories. And to be honest people know the risk they take when they street race but will continue to do it anyway. So for now this thread is
