Funny work story...

I figured I'd pop my water cooler cherry with a funny story at work...

So I work at a clinic and there are only 4 people that work there... Alot of the times it's just Judy and I. Judy is this 65 year old receptionest from Tennessee and she's also not the brightest crayon in the crayola box. And i'm a 22 year old nurse with lost of jokes.

Since Judy doesn't know how to use the internet, she always asks me for other offices numbers. so 2 days ago we needed to send something back to where it came from, so Judy needed to call UPS to pick it up. Well she didn't know the number and jokingly i said 9-1-1 and genius Judy dials it then comes to her senses and hangs up! so of course they called back and i answer. "Hello?" "Yes this is blah from the sheriffs department, someone called and hung up?" "Oh yes it was an accident, i'm sorry." Me thinking it was over... IT WASN'T! shortly after a cop shows up at the clinic!! AHH Judy is on the phone, so i talk to him and say "Our receptionist is not all together and she dialed it on accident, i apologize." while the cop is lookin around the office makin sure i wasn't holding anyone hostage or anything my face is just getting redder and redder!! FINALLY he leaves. and we all got a good laugh thanks to retarded Judy.

judy is old as dirt... picture an old lady around 65 with bright a$$ red hair, and has nerve damage so she always is shaking her head "no" LOL so annoying... just yesterday she told me the reason she has to "Stop and think" about things is because she had a "stroke" in march... I think that's just an excuse to do retarded things! because her "stroke" was just slight bleeding to her brain which "got cleared out" so there is no reason so be DUMB!

****... The poor lady had a stroke. How is that not in your standards as a legitamite excuse? Learn to respect people a bit more, unless of course she doesn't respect you. But by it it sounds like you rip on her for no reason just for your pure enjoyment.

Yeah, there's this dude at my workplace who had a stroke too. He's been working in the dept for over 10 years and he doesn't know where the basic stuff are located. Most new employees within a few weeks of training will know everything about the location of stuff in the dept. The stroke happened over 10 years ago for this dude.

i am nice to Judy... but when it starts that i'm doin HER JOB and gettin only 1 paycheck... that's when u start gettin upset. Judy always transfers all the calls to me just because she doesn't know what to do with it... something so simple as make an appointment!! i mean like i don't have stuff i have to do right? lol
