Square Trade warranty via e-bay?

I ordered some electronics gear (2 amps, and headunit) from an online store which offers a 3-year Square Trade warranty for a fee. It's about $75 for the h/u (which retails for $900) and $45 for each amp ($400 retail).

I'd almost jump on this but I don't know if the warranty is good. I've read mixed reviews via google searches.

Anyone here dealt with this directly?

I got a navi recently with a 3 year square trade warranty. I thought I had messed it up (accidentally deleted all the maps off of it and could NOT get them back on until Adrian helped me). In my midst of panic I emailed them and they were very accommodating, assuring me I could send it in and get it looked at if I couldn't resolve the problem.

So I haven't actually USED it yet, but so far their customer service seems spot on.
