2007 VMAs on MTV. Discuss.

First off: Britney Spears. Did anyone not see this? MTV spent all weekend hyping it as her big comeback. I honestly thought it would be good; and she would look fine in the process. Man, was it bad. I don't mean kinda bad. I mean hella bad. She looked nervous as crap and she didn't even lip sync in sync.

If you haven't seen, here.

Kid Rock & Tommy Lee got into a fight, too.

The only thing I enjoyed was seeing Lil Wayne performing with Fallout Boy. That was kinda cool. Not really a big fan of FOB, but to see them with Wayne was different.

Didn't get to see Alicia Keys; had to take the dogs out for a poo. I heard it was a great performance.

Alicia keys is always a great performer. GO see her in concert if u havent yet. AMAZING.

as far as Britney goes.... she looked like a dear in headlights that forgot her words.

she sucked...horribly. ANd she lip synced .....I cant beleieve she still does that!

Didn't even bother because that station is all trash these days. I think they should just have a big turd on display when you turn the station on so at least they'd be honest.

you're the only person I know that thinks she's funny. She crossed the line last night. I *don't* hope she got into a car crash last night, but I wouldn't be sorry if she did.

EDIT: I meant to add if more artists and entertainers like Chris Brown are in R&Bs future, I think it'll be pretty bright.

I was stoked on Timberlake pleading with MTV to actually start playing music videos again during his acceptance speech.

Oh, and Serj Tankian's performance of Holiday in Cambodia was killer.

AND Mastodon + Josh Homme tearing it up while the idiots in the crowd stood there and looked confused = priceless.

y yes he is a huge piece. After one of his performances the music faded slightly but you could still hear him rapping in the background while the announcer was going over sponsor info etc.....Let's just say he dropped the "n" bomb, and several other 4 letter choice words several times that was easily heard.

Anyone else hear that? Not that it matters, but it made me lol
