Exclamation Question about vinyl

Please forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong section.

But does anyone know where or what site I could goto to get some custom vinyls made???

I just found out while in class that I lost another friend this morning and this is the fourth one this year. And I was hoping to make some memorial vinyls in their memory. If anyone could help me please I really appriciate it.

Thanks alot!!!

I used to help my buddy's family out a lot, they own a sign shop.

Sign shops usually produce 3 different products.

Vynil Sticker

Laser Printed Vynil Sticker

and hand painted.

Vynil sticker: (which most car pinstripes are made of, etc) starts off as a roll of one basic color that is sticky on one side. This roll is fed through a plotter where it is cut to a computer designed pattern. The vynil is then placed onto a anti-stick backing, nonsticky side down. Once this is done, the sticker is "weeded" meaning the non important part (such as the middle of "D's and "P"s are picked out. Then, the vynil sticker is pressed up against its desired surface, and the backing paper peeled off.

Laser Printed Vynil Sticker: Same as above, except it starts out as a roll of white vynil sticker, and the color is printed on. This is far more expensive and usually the preferred method of big budget clients. This is also how billboards are made.

So, long story short, everything that isn't hand painted is a sticker. A regular sign shop should be able to help you out. The fewer the colors, and the less intricate the design, the cheaper it will be.

That is what you get from Injen and the other companies. It has been a long time since I bought custom vinyl, but I did do some at my work the other week. It use to cost like $0.10 a letter for like 4" letters.
