MAn i only choose this college becuz it was less costly then other colleges im planning to become a chef. Before i went to the college im going in now which is ORANGE COAST COLLEGE i registered for the ART INSTITUTE and it was to expensive 55 thousand for 2 years compared to the 20 unit classes which im going at now.

Exactly, you must need electives, just pick up some of those for the time being and prepare better next semester. Good Luck! |

Wow... you think YOU have it bad? Try going to University of Toronto... They have all these secret rules and regulations regarding enrolling/dropping/withdrawing/petitioning for courses... I got screwed so badly that I needed to withdraw from the school and come back home to a community college...

Hahaha, yeah, adding/dropping classes you need are the worst. At least you're still a freshman. Take some GE-related Mickey Mouse courses: Philosophy and Psychology, etc. Get those out of the way. The hard part about being a freshman is that your priority isn't the greatest. Wait a semester, and you'll find those classes you need easier to get into.

Hey dude, i got to cal state long beach, but i live around OCC. Try doing a late enrollment for Golden west college even if you have to pay late fees and sign up for classes there as well. You'll have to drive to two diff schools but its better than being under full-time, especially if you're going to get financial aid.

The first day of class I didn't get there early enough (I was about 30 minutes early to class) and I had to park so far away in this dirt parking lot that another building was actually blocking my view of the college. |
