DOOD......Do you know how many times Mythbusters tried to do this "banana peel" effect on a rifle to simulate what they saw in a cartoon with no success!?!?!?!?

thats the same thing i was goin to say, there have been so many shows ive seen and then i see something in real life and im like wtf, i thought on mythbusters they couldnt do that

Sticking a cap at the end of the gun in really tight for calibration purposes. Someone who knows alot about guns please correct me if I'm wrong. But anyways the guy left it on and tried to fire the gun, since the end of the barrel is capped the pressure created from firing the bullet has no way of escaping so it detonates and splits the barrel.
