Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
Ok, so I know it's old, but has anyone seen this movie? It's not perfect, but it's pretty bad-ass. I got it at the mall when I was in Maryland for $20, but they also have them on ebay and they come with a bonus disc for like $10-$15. It seems kinda short because it moves pretty quickly, but I think it's about an hour and a half long. Cloud's new sword is dope too; it's the same size as the old one but it comes apart and each different part of the blade has a handle. I wanna say it's like 5 swords in one, all different sizes. It's kinda hard watching it sometimes though because it was formatted for widescreen tv's so the subtitles run off the screen. And they move so fast. But anyway, if you saw the first US released Final Fantasy movie (The Spirits Within) and hated everything about it, you'll REALLY enjoy this one. Screw Pixar; the animation is some of the best I've ever seen.

i had this movie downloaded the day it came out in japan, it is one of the most amazing feats of animation i have ever seen, there is this one shot in the beginning where there is this wolf on this cliff that overlooks the city, the wind is blowing through it's hair and it looks amazing. There texture is insaine, no wonder it took 3 years to make....My favorite part is the tifa fight in the chapel...amazing!!!!

I liked the Giant winged Summon's fight. It was cooled how it ended. Or during the final fight, Cloud splits that falling chunk of building in half and they have a sword fight standing on each half as it falls to the ground. Those are the kind of scenes that remind you "oh yeah, it's still a cartoon". They'd never do that stuff in real life, even with CGI effects lol... |

![]() I saw the movie a billion times and I loved it every time. I'm thinking about getting the ShinRa Electric Company logo emblazend across the side of my car. It'll probably look to geeky though.

I downloaded it too. I got kinda lost throughout the movie, but after a few viewings, started to understand it a bit better. Thank God it's coming out on DVD in April; I wanna hear this in 5.1 and on my widescreen.

Holy crap...that would be dork tastic, i bet the japanese kids would love it though, in addition to us anime dorks.... And the wolf symbology was the same as the old sword stuck on that same cliff, the one that gets kicked over, and cloud replaces about a quarter of the way through the movie.... |

But that was a great scene, when he goes to stick it back into the ground and talks to it. |
