Another reason Kia sucks

If you are looking to buy an affordable car with all the fixings of the more expensive cars, try a KIA! If you want to die in a front in collision due to no front airbag deployment, try a KIA! Thats right, you heard me. And now the story that warranted this thread. My neighbors were going on vacation, they borrowed a friends 2004 KIA Sedona (the same car my mother and aunt drive). While going around a tight corner a high schooler hit them head on. Everyone is okay, they were wearing their seat belts. But the big deal about that is.... NONE of the air bags deployed at a more than adiquate crash. They took the van to the dealership, and what did kia do? shrug their shoulders and send the car to korea to see what went wrong... my mom and aunt took their vans in just for a check, and what did they find... some faulty air bag sensors... kia sucks... cheaper is not better... they suck... buy a honda!!!

wow glad to hear no one was hurt. I never owned a kia nor ever. I dont see why Kia's commercials compares them vs like bmw or lexus i mean not even in the same ballpark of quality.

maybe the impact wasnt that strong... or the damage..

air bags deploying on accedents will cause $$$ and maybe a burnt face.

if thier faces was on the steering wheel and on the dash board on that accedent, i can say that the airbag sucks on kia..

its hyundai that does that...and i think hyundai has really improved in their quality and reliability. kia still got a long way to go

Glad to hear everyone is ok. If the airbags didn't deploy, thats a lawsuit right there. Tell your neighbors to talk to a lawyer and I betcha that would straighten them right up. A friend of mines got into a car wreck and his air bags didn't deploy either, all I can say is that he GOT PAID!

Well im glad i got it out there. Honestly im not sure what they're gonna do yet. I wouldn't trust hyundai much either. I have friends that have brand new ( 03-07 ) hyundais, and they are falling apart... literally. My neighbors across the street have put 3 new transmissions in they're kia optima. Korea, get with the game... don't turn into another ford company. lol.

That's why you can get them for crackhead prices. I almost bought one out of a vending machine one day but I saw a snickers i wanted instead.
