Derek...Prod...Telly...??
So my lease is running out this month on my 03 Civic and I go to 7thgencivic.com only to find that I was redirected to some other ghetto forum. Word on the street is that this is what used to be 7thgencivic.com?
This is just a shout out to all the 03's and 02's back in the day... If you'll excuse me, I've got to look up information on the 08 Civics...I hear they're changing up the classifications for the next batch, and I want what USED to be an EX. I'll have to see what they're calling it now. |

no this is not what used to be 7thgencivic.com, this is for the 8th gen civics, 7thgencivic.com has become civicforums.com which has more than just the 7th generation.
where did you hear this changing of classifications, i very highly doubt honda would change the classification of a car that has been the same forever |

Who's the Administrator? I seem to remember Derek-CEO saying something about selling the old 7thgencivic.com and him wanting to start up a new one.
I talked to the dealership here in Winnipeg, CANADA.... They said that the LX and the EX are going to share some attributes. For instance, the LX will be called something like the LX RS or something, and will have a sunroof added to the package, whereas the EX will be called the EX-L and will have heated leather seats, blah blah blah. I'm not sure how they'll compare to the existing models, but even the people I talked to weren't sure exactly what changes Honda would be implementing. |

not sure what all happened to 7thgencivic.com i dont go on there anymore only a few times when i owned my 05.
and ok i know what you are talking bout, honda will be adding a couple trim levels to the lineup such as EX-L which is just the EX with leather but they will still have the regular EX. i thought you meant they were dropping them completely and going to a whole new name scheme |

Ah, okay. You seem to know what you're talking about...is there anywhere where I could get a complete list of what's being added/taken away? Once again, I really am not sure about what's going on besides what the dealerships have told me. I'm also expecting the new 08's to be arriving sometime in September?

I haven't heard anything about them changing trim level designations. Honda no longer badges the trim designation on the Civics anymore. Maybe that's what you've heard. |

Ah, I got it now.
I'm wondering how much the price will jump. I was paying 310.00 a month for my old Auto LX coupe, but I'm looking to upgrade as far as amenities go. Leather seats and a Nav unit sound pretty cool...I woner what I'll end up paying more every month. |

An EX with navi goes for around $21K...about the same price as a base Si. An EX with navi and leather would probably bring the price up to around $23K. |
